The original silhouette of the Fornasetti vase comes from an archival drawing. Each Fornasetti vase features two different expressions of the same face on the front and back, combining the irreverent spirit of the Atelier with its timeless design.
The Chiave/Serratura is one of the most popular patterns and now comes in an original color variation on a green background.
Fornasetti vases are unique pieces and any minor differences between similar creations are the result of artisanal production processes.

Born in 1913 in Milan , Piero Fornasetti revolutionized design by mixing classical art, surrealism and graphic patterns . Passionate about architecture and trompe-l'oeil, he collaborated with Gio Ponti and created decorative objects and iconic furniture. His most famous motif, the face of Lina Cavalieri , declined in more than 400 variations in the series "Tema e Variazioni" , became the emblem of the house.
